It’s mid-year. Have you re-evaluated your New Year’s resolutions? Have you looked at your life list of things you want to accomplish?

Recharge, Rejuvenate, Relax

It’s mid-year; have you checked your employees’ vacation schedule? Now is the time to make sure your employees are rejuvenating themselves by taking their time off. People have to take time away from the job to recharge their batteries. Businesses truly learn to appreciate employees while they are in the office by encouraging them to take time off and get out of their routines. Reorganizing for the Talent Crunch

There’s a lot of discussion, not to mention statistics, about the impending mass retirements of the global workforce. It’s a driving concern for the implementation of succession planning systems, as well as many knowledge transfer and mentoring programs. However, when you have 30 – 60% of your workforce scheduled to retire in the next 10 years, as was noted several times by companies I spoke to at OHUG (Oracle HCM User Group) in Las Vegas recently, you need to do more than just succession planning and replacement planning. read more »
